CHARACTER INFORMATION
NAME: Bucky Barnes
CANON: Marvel Comics
AGE: early/mid-30s going on 90
CANON POINT: Mid-Bucky Barnes: The Winter Soldier, post-Black Widow (2014) but before his mission to Mer-Z-Bow. So, he's been living in a space ship and working as a space assassin, and Daisy Johnson agreed to work with him a little while ago, but they haven't gone on a crazy space LSD trip with Loki yet.
BACKGROUND: Up through The Man on the Wall
INCENTIVE: Officially and as far as he would have discussed with the Eudio representative, Bucky’s incentive is to give Natasha Romanoff the option to restore her memories of him. (Or not, if she doesn’t want to.) This is actually something he wants, but it's not actually something he’d trust a total stranger like the Eudio representative to do. Therefore, if it doesn’t conflict with the premise of the game too much, I’d like to say his real reason for coming to Eudio is to investigate the city, as he’s naturally suspicious of anything that sounds too good to be true. (I don’t intend for his investigation to amount anything or even cause much of a stir; it’s strictly an IC motivational mechanism.)
If it’s possible for Bucky to tell anyone where he’s going before he goes, he would have spoken to Nick Fury, and I’d like to say investigating Eudio is an “official” mission from Fury, although who’s to say Fury isn’t just trying to force Bucky to take a goddamn vacation and stop lying on the floor crying about Natasha for 5 minutes. If he can't talk to Fury first, though, he’d be suspicious enough to investigate on his own.
FIT: Having, y’know, been the victim of decades of nonconsensual brainwashing and psychological experimentation, Bucky is consent’s #1 fan! Comics don't specifically highlight the issue of consent in his romantic relationships, but he canonically stands up for his lover’s independence and right to choose her romantic partners, whether that’s him or anyone else, and he demonstrates a general sensitivity to exploitation that implies a pretty nuanced understanding of the whole subject of consent. So he’s a pretty excellent candidate to help power a consentual physical intimacy city, actually. While he is historically straight-leaning, Bucky hooks up with a gender-fluid telepathic alien princess just after his canon point, so it’s safe to say he’s pretty flexible and open to new experiences. When it comes to romance, he may still trip over his own feelings, but he has few sexual hang-ups.

Important aardvark announcements
ANYTHING ELSE? If it’s ok to bring pets, Bucky would bring his space aardvark, the Great Reznor, and a pair of handguns with ammunition and a small collection of knives, along with his usual clothes and gear. He would be willing to register the handguns.
